Hoppy Bird Day, you young pup! will you do something fun to celebrate?

I can't keep any of this straight. First Pink was the new Black, then I heard Orange was the new Black, NOW 40 is the new 30???!!!! What is 35? The new 25? Anyhoo, Happy Happy Birthday!

Last I heard, black was the new black. And while 40 is the new 30, 35 is a good smoke.

Anita, to celebrate I'm working from home today instead of going into the office, and then tonight my lovely wife is taking me out to dinner somewhere of my choosing. I haven't chosen yet, though.

Hey Deb, are you spending 39 being "almost 40"? I did, and now that I'm 40, it feels absolutely the same, minus the "almost". :-)

Hey, congrats! Now I have a new benchmark for being really young.

yup, i'm clinging to "almost-40" until the bitter end.

as you know, i am in the midst of a major midlife crisis, which i hope like hell disappears on the stroke of midnight of the day i turn 40. if it doesn't. i think i'm in for a very long haul to 50.

hope your birthday was a good one :)

What do you mean there is no cat?

"You see, wire telegraph is a kind of a very, very long cat. You pull his tail in New York and his head is meowing in Los Angeles. Do you understand this? And radio operates exactly the same way: you send signals here, they receive them there. The only difference is that there is no cat."

- Albert Einstein, explaining radio
