I want to wish my dad a happy birthday. He turns 66 today. I'm 44. And if my grandfather, his father, were still alive, he would be turning 88 in about a week. Looks like I blew it by not having a son when I was 22....
Happy birthday, Dad!

On the occasion of the death of Merv Griffin, I would just like to remind everyone to beware of dairy products gone bad.

What do you mean there is no cat?
"You see, wire telegraph is a kind of a very, very long cat. You pull
his tail in New York and his head is meowing in Los Angeles. Do you understand
this? And radio operates exactly the same way: you send signals here, they
receive them there. The only difference is that there is no cat."
- Albert Einstein, explaining radio
There used to be a cat
