USA Networks is too dumb to come up with any ideas of its own and too poor to buy any good ideas from some place like HBO. So instead, they’re going to resurrect a long-dead bad idea and revive The Bionic Woman.

USA Networks created the new Detective show Monk which stars Tony Shalhoub and is written by WFMU’s Andy Breckman. It’s about an obsessive compulsive ex-Detective in San Francisco. It is actually a very good show and has been picked up by ABC. So the Bionic Woman not withstanding, USA Networks CAN create and/or purchase good shows.
