Schieffer asks a question about jobs, and Bush's 90 second rejoinder talks entirely about taxes. Bah! He's like Chester O'Chimp; you pull his string, and the same old talking points come out.

Well, what can a man who is the first president since the Great Depression to lose jobs while in office say about his record on jobs? I wasn't exactly surprised that he tried to run away from any questions on that subject. Not that his record on education is anything to be proud of, either, mind you....

For W, no matter what the question, he did seem to nonsequiter into answers that involved Taxes or Education.
Did you know before last night that Education is his declared "passion"? - maybe someday he'll get himself some.
Nice to see that Chester has his own website on the Internets.

Every time Bob asked about jobs he tried to bring it around to No Child Left Behind. WTF?
(This is the only debate I caught: part of a life sans TV, and I was annoyed by Bush (the expected reaction) and impressed by Kerry, more than I expected to be.)
